BKMRK’d – October 2017
Nocturnal Halloween monsters may never get any shut-eye, but books certainly NEVER sleep. Nowhere is this more true than in the case of our October titles.
September has been one HELL of a bookish month. We had SIX (WE KNOW RIGHT) books publishing all of which were absolutely amazing in their own right.
But we’re here now to tell you about our October books. And why, we definitely think, they should be top of your tbr pile because tbh they’re great (we are biased but also great so trust us)!
We’re kidding. But it definitely SHOULD. Nick Lake’s science fiction sensation Satellite (5th Oct 2017) will simultaneously ground you in its breathtakingly beautiful story AND will fling you into an epic adventure on a whole new scale.
Satellite tells the story of Leo who is born and raised aboard a spaceship now journeying to Earth or ‘home’ for the first time. It’s a stunning story about family and love and what makes home a home.
One Netgalley reviewer said: ‘it made my heart pound, it made me sob and laugh, it warmed my soul.’

This author needs NO introduction: from the international bestselling author of the Cherub series, Crash Landing (5th Oct 2017) is Robert’s explosive final Rock War book.
Jay, Summer and Dylan are fresh out of the biggest reality show there is. But they’re about to discover what fame and fortune are really about…

Not since Hermione Granger, Coraline and Matilda has there been such a LIKEABLE and quirky heroine… meet Morrigan Crow!
Nevermoor (12th Oct 2017) has everything you could want in a FANTASTIC read: magic, madness even magnificats. It’s one of the most anticipated fantastical books of the decade and we are SO excited to see it burst into the world!
