Lyn Dawes

Dr Lyn Dawes is a consultant for Oracy Cambridge, The Hughes Hall Centre for Effective Spoken Communication at Cambridge University. Lyn taught in Primary and Secondary schools, specialising in science and spoken language. Lyn has carried out classroom research into the effectiveness of oracy teaching programs, and has authored a number of books popular oracy books for teachers and children. She has trained teachers at Bedford, Northampton and Cambridge Universities, and more recently carried out workshops for teachers to support the integration of oracy into their classrooms.
